Let's mark the end of the Era of the Lev and welcome the new Era of the Euro with a themed exhibition of multiples’ editions and unique works!
At the end of each year, it is customary to say goodbye to the past and plan for the future. At the end of this, as usual, difficult year, in addition to the various public and personal changes, we say goodbye to the Bulgarian Lev and start thinking in terms of the Euro on a daily basis.
Every “goodbye” has nostalgic undertones, and every “welcome” comes with a little anxiety. The artists in this exhibition have made an effort to embody these emotions and turn them into memorable symbols, accessories of memory, and memorabilia of the currency transition.
We are already counting down the days to the long-awaited and ultimately inevitable end of the Transition. The event is happening so to be remembered. Let's keep an art souvenir from that!
