Donumenta presents an interdisciplinary perspective (fine arts, music, literature, dance, theatre, film and history) on the current art and culture scene of the Danube countries. Donumenta focuses on the art and culture scene of one particular country at a time, upstream. Donumenta started with Ukraine in 2003, Moldova 2004 and will move to Bulgaria in 2005.

Symposia, conferences and workshops create a forum for the participants of the culture scene of all the countries involved. An ambitious culture exchange expands and consolidates  existing networks and evoke a new feeling of solidarity in the consciousness of the people of the Danube.
